Documents Required for Check In.


M azatlán is an official port of entry. Marina Mazatlán will assist you in the check in and check out process. We can help you can get your Visas, Temporary Import Permits and Insurance quickly and conveniently.


International Arrival

Requirements for an international arrival:

  • Yellow sanitary flag .stay on board to sanitary authorities arrives.
  • Current Vessel Registration Documentation.
  • Mexican Liability Insurance (P and I).
  • Passports (for everyone on the boat).
  • Crew List (Despacho).
  • Temporary Import Permit (you can apply for it here in Mazatlán).

    • Customs Information: Also, all vessels arriving from a foreign country must have an agricultural inspection upon arrival.

    Domestic Arrival

    Requirements when arriving from another port in Mexico:

  • Current Vessel Registration Documentation.
  • Mexican Liability Insurance (P and I).
  • Passports (for everyone on the boat).
  • Check out forms from last port including Crew List.
  • Completed contract form, upon arrival.
  • Tourist Visa or FM-3 (FM-3 can be applied for in Mazatlán).
  • Temporary Import Permit (Can be applied for in Mazatlán).
